OVERVIEW
Wardrobe aims to changing fashion with whatโs already there. The peer-to-peer fashion rental company finds themselves in the center of the fashion marketplace, allowing Instagram influencers, viral TikTok-ers, and well-known celebrities to upload their closet for their fans to rent!
Items are processed between the renter and Wardrobe Hubs, reducing carbon emissions, and enforcing a sustainable way to rent and dress fashionably.

THE WEBSITE
First the DesktopsโThen the World.
Where most companies chose to halt production, and wait-out the COVID-19 pandemic, Wardrobe found the perfect opportunity to expand its user base from the comfort of their own homes, by branching out their rental experience to web, and opening their rentals nationwide. All in preparation for the day where the virus was behind us all, and we were ready to retire the grey sweatpants, and look good again.
The redesign and launch of the website took Wardrobeโs brand to new levels of awe, allowing us to find our footing in a space already overrun by companies who overused dark tone in an effort to look sleek. While providing users public access to all Wardrobe had to offer, we also wanted to emote a brand new rental experience to keep a user entertained while they browsed.
THE APP
New York Cityโs Largest Closet,
In the Palm of Your Hands
Wardrobe started on the phone, iPhone to be exact. The company used the summer of 2019 to launch the beta version of their app, which proved helpful to me as the Lead Designer when I was brought onboard to prepare the app for its official launch that upcoming Fall. With the help of user testing (the site, and literal users testing in the office), competitive analysisโs, and picking the brains of my closest girlfriends, we launched Wardrobe on November 2019.
The launch allowed Wardrobe to expand its renting clientele, allowed for us to open closets for the influencers who received numerous, โWhere did you get that?? โค๏ธโ comments on their Instagram photos, and paved the way for the public expansion of the app and website build.
